Gerry, I was prasing my a.k.a in the bupa race, ie jp 's Cousin. He did excellent, and i think it was with no training. The conamera was a great experience, running the whole way and getting over that mound at 10 and 11 was very Satisfying. How the marathon and ultra people do it at the end of their race is beyond me.

Aidan
Hats off to you. Had a couple of friends doing your Connemara race yesterday and they told me last night how tough it was. Your time was brilliant. Well done.
Dor, Doug and I had a great day yesterday, apart from the sub zero temps and the hailstone storm near the end..
Was wondering why you weren't with us on sat morning. Had forgotten.
We are thinking of doing a similar cycle next sat again if anyone is interested in joining us. Maybe Caroline will come. She was apparently doing a tougher workout on the dance floor of the Park Hotel until the early hours of last sat morning instead.
Similar start time (0634-0640 on the bike...will be doing approx 90-95 miles)
