I know its not the main event but whose up for the marshalls race on Saturday evening 5pm.... seing as I survived the Daly V Boyle debut race to open the season (just about!) starting to get a little a twitchin' for more racing!
'Will be dustin' down the bike that hasn't seen tarmac since August '07...... I heard there are some good prizes on offer for the winners, but I say "What prize is bigger than Glory?.."

Hard to be competitive at his pace....! (sorry Doug...just can't help myself!)... more seriously, I presume the plan is to run the full race - will the run be marked out? I seem to recall its a real merry-go-round, nice and scenic with all the hills Belvedere has to offer.

My competitive streak has just come back, thanks to you Brian B, i shall see you saturday eve, ill bring some essentials, a bottle of water that ill have waiting for you at the finnish line, and some sudrocreme for your ass, because i'd say getting it kicked twice in 2 weeks will be sore....

Aghhh!.... I only want to get around in one piece - not in any position to challenge anyone. I'm not even too sure if my bike still works. Surely its the taking part that counts? - We are all winners.... How many are you expecting?

I think there should be a prize for the end of the year of a Sthingy for the person who has stirred up the most competition in the club....
Brian B, Yes. Course will be fully marked out for the marshals race but we may be light on the marshals for the cycle course. I also have been told it's a chipped event so you'll get a break down of where it all went wrong for you!!!

Its looking like the Marshals race is going to be more interesting than the main one on sunday the way the Bookies are going!!!! What ods has Breda "paddy power" Daly got going now?

I'm still concentrating on pizza eating so if you need a marshall to marshall the marshall's race then I'm your man.
If you don't need me to marshall then I'm available to do favours for food, such as trip somebody as they run through the Demense, or misplace bikes in the transition area while all eyes are on the runners.
