As always on cycle's safety comes first, so when in a group cycle please take note of the following, the people who are at the front of the group must notify the group of cars coming toward the group as the people behind may not be aware of on coming traffic, this should then be relayed all the way to the back, the people at the back of the group must notify the group of up coming traffic as they will not be aware of up coming traffic, and this should be relayed all the way to the front, it only takes a split second to drift out and if your UN-aware of traffic on the road this could result in an accident so please make everyone aware of traffic no matter what. Same goes for road hazards, potholes, road kill, grit/gravel etc no matter where you are in the group, front or middle, you need to make the people behind aware of hazards, and please be aware of crossing the center line especially if avoiding a hazard. We have a lot of new members in the club who are not used to cycling in a group and the experienced cyclist should make them aware of these few but very important thing's to remember. Thanks, Doug
