Lisbon Half Ironman

Hi Guys

I am in Galway and was wondering is there anyone from Limerick doing the Lisbon Half Ironman on April 25th?
I am entered with flights booked but Aer Lingus are only allowing 6x bikes to be advance booked per flight. Not sure if there any members travelling and if so, is there any plan fr bike transport?

Any info would be appreciated.

Hi Barry, there is 11 from the club doing Lisbon, some of us managed to book the bikes onto flights and some didn't, the people who didn't have looked into hiring them and found a shop in lisbon that hire road bikes for €25 a day, this would work out cheaper than shipping and less hassell, although you cant beat the comfort of your own bike.
I spoke to the guy in the shop in lisbon and there good bikes Cube, and he named some others but i cant think of the names,this is the link to the shop and he speaks english

He said you should bring your own peddles and shoes.
