Gerry, Do you not recall that film , " The Terry Fox Story " ( 1983 ) , came to the cinema in Mullingar for a week only. I remember why i was brought to it by my father - to show why I shouldnt complain as a fat 9 year old about doing 2 laps of Cullion's hurling pitch while training! If you look at it very closely, it stars none other than the great Robert Duvall ( The Godfather etc ) A real tear-jerker, pink towels type of flick......................

That was Robert "I love the smell of napalm in the morning" Duvall .. impressive knowledge Andrew!! So that's the film that inspired you to be the athlete you are today ? What inspired the use the of the pink towel then? The Village People?
