As we all know Nutrition plays a big part in sport's today, especially Triathlon,Knowing what to eat prior and During a race can be a key factor in finishing a race,And what to eat after a race can be a key factor in recovery. With that said we were thinking of getting a qualified Nutritionist in to do a lecture on nutrition, not just for long distance events but for every day nutrition,we need to know if there is enough people in the club interested in doing this before we go ahead,it will consist of at least a half day lecture with hand outs some demonstrations and a Q+A, There will be a charge for this but the club will subsidies the most of it (the charge will be given at a later time as we have to confirm numbers). Please reply to this thread or contact Doug (0879112226) if your interested.DB P.s were hoping to do this on saturday around the end of Febuary

Folks, Just a quick add to Doug's thread. If you are responding can you add in the length of race which you are training for this season? It'll just help focus the talk. Sprint Standard Half IM IM or I'm just a beginner and want to know what a gel is!!! Thanks, BrianI
