Pardon the pun (if you do not catch it) ...
I have been thinking with the Christmas coming there are a few things that are likely to happen. I will over eat and complain about why I did it to myself come the 27th of December. I am hoping I will get some cool gifts (bike gear/parts) or a voucher to my favourite bike store, obvioulsy these are in high contrast. how do i go and spend a wad load of cash on a lgihtweight something when i have just shovelled on lbs at the dinner table .. Anyhow, eat , drink and be merry but consider the cost.
Steve will have to correct me on some of this as i got it all from surfing the web and weighing my own (old road) bike. Do not mis interpret this either, i love bike gear and believe you should buy it if you WANT in , not necessarily NEED it !!
so if you put on 5lbs over Christmas this is ~ 2,267 grams . now look at the cost of reducing this on your bike
Group sets (brakes, chain rings, gears etc..)
