Just wondering what pool based triathlons/aquathons are out there. I know about the Fingal Sprint as I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Doug's attempts at sabotaging Sharon's race. But besides this one what else is there?

There's also the Joey hannon in limerick,
Not sure but i think the north tipp sprint is in the pool.
promise not to sabotage any ones race..

Trilogy run a pool based one in Portlaoise.
Setanta in Galway direction have one or two.
The Liam Ball in Derry used to be pool based not sure about now. There are several pool triathlons up North methinks. Check out clubs like Northwest Triathlon, Olympian and Hielbow to name some.

How do they check your distance in a pool? does someone cout for you?

Hi Eric,
Normally, everyone in the lane gets a different coloured hat and you get counted by a swim marshall (one/two at each lane)......... people have been known to swim extra lenghts!! so a good idea to count yourself.
