Hi Folks,
Anybody know a good Doctor or Physio in town who specialises in sports injuries?
I've been blessed up to now in that I've had no serious injuries but my foot's not right since Sunday.

Hi Colm, Rory Donohue in Boyle today, he specialises in foot and related muscle problems, he can make up special insoles for you which helps with body alignment and cuts down on joint and muscle pains. his no. is 086 8068303 , he comes reccomended, went to him earlier on this year and he saved me from getting a stress fracture from bad shin splints. Thanks, Brian.
Had to make the tough decision after 35k to give up the chase. I was on target for sub 3 at that stage but was tiring and I think my options were to risk not finishing at all if I kept pushing or to slow slightly and enjoy the finish. I slowed and really enjoyed the finish! It's definitely the best finish I've ever experienced. There were thousands of people lining the mile long finish straight and at the end there were grandstands packed with people cheering on either side of the road. Incredible stuff.
Once the foot is back in business I'll be chasing that sub 3 again.
Thanks, JP, for the contact number. I'll give him a call.
