we need to fill goodie bags. I'd like to have something more substantial than the usual crap that triathlons are handing out recently.

Anything can go in a goodie bag. There are all sorts of business that want to advertise their wares. If you have any friends or associates that may fancy putting something into the CK goodie bag then please ask. "Ask and thou shalt receive". It takes a little bit of effort but really it's not a lot of effort to ask!

wondering when is set up for CK Thurs or Friday need to know when trailers are needed ?

Set up will be on Thursday. I have already talked to Pat McDermot but I'm just waiting for him to confirm the time he can deliver the trailer to Lilliput. He needs 2 people to help him pack the trailer and obviously we will need people to help set up the tent on Thursday night ... time to be confirmed. but I expect somewhere around 7 to 8pm.

Hi Brigid,

as it turns out, the army guys will be available to set up between 10am and 4pm on Thursday. My thinking is that we get them to do as much of this as possible with supervision from some of us in the club.

That will mean:

1. Having the set up equipment onsite Thursday morning at 10am. How can we do that?
2. 2 or 3 volunteers to direct and help with the set up (tents, finish gantry, swim markers, etc). I will be available but it would be great to have some more seasoned campaigners also. Who can help on Thurs 10am?

Whether we need anyone on Thursday evening then remains to be seen.

Once again, CK Tri has passed off to much praise and enjoyment from those who took part. From chatting to athletes after the race, it is clear that a great time was had by all.

I'd like to take this chance , on behalf of myself, my Dad and Tomas, to thank all the members of the race committee, everyone who marshalled on the day, and to Ronan for all their efforts and hard work in putting on such an amazing event.
