Hello all,many thanks to everyone who sponsored me for the ironman.

Serious big thank you to all who logged on and helped me raise enough loot to try and somehow keep within sight of Nicky "Legend" Mc Cabe... Mary "should have been in the Olympics" Daly and Doug " Where will I fit the Ironman tatoo" Bates!!!!!!

Tks also to the guys who encouraged me to register that night we met in Bloomfield..special thanks to our Israeli amigo (are you reading us Philipo) and also special thank you to John Reilly for the final word of encouragement a few weeks back. Had changed my mind again but he persuaded me otherwise.

Hi there Ironman Duffy , Philipo always on here ! .. yes, I am deligthed you have the mula sorted out and are focusing on the monumental task at hand. I will not be there this time screaming my head off "you are the man ! duffy" but I tell you, every office cubicle within a 50 ft radius of mine will know how you are doing as I watch on line. You guys have lots of company and encouragement. It sounds like a typical "Midland TRi family" event where we all go, have a balast socially and fit the swim, bike and run in there somewhere around it all. To top it off , we all do not need to do the hard work, we are happy to watch too .. A bit surprised POB did not reserve a seat/bed for me in the camper van considering how well we looked after him in our 5 star hostel in Nice but I am sure he will next time. ... Go do midland proud ... and yourselves of course.
