Just to give anyone else interested an idea of the total cost of a weekend for the H.I,for two adults with a car with Irish ferry's is €331.56 or for four adults and car €448.20,entry for race is £85 sterling for single entry or £120 for team,hotel rooms are in and around £65 per night for double room,so any other takers?

I (George) am interested in doing the HI in wales also. I assume you all just sent off a check with details. Did anyone find out if there is a limit to entry and whether we can get in or not ? . Of course, I am banking on a tailored training plan from Caroline to ensure I can finish, that and a bit of "Faith"

Just in case anyone likes numbers and stats etc... I was browsing Bala 2007 results. These are the times and the speeds calculated on the right of each. The winner had an average speed of > 39kph :-) but on average the speed was ~31kph, we have a little more work to do on saturday mornings.
