Hi all,
My brother is involved with the newly formed Muckno Triathlon Club (Castleblayney) and asked if I'd mention this event (http://www.mucknotri.com). The final format has not been decided yet but it looks like the first 3 finishers from any county will count towards the final scores. Its one of the earliest open water triathlons in the country and the lake (Hollywood lake outside Monaghan) is supposedly calm and clear - entry opening soon at 45 euro.
Something else that might be of interest is that on the day after this event, there will be supervised IM and half-IM distance timed swims in the same lake (more detail on that to follow).
