There maybe a few of ye doing Long or Middle distance races this year..... This might be of interest
Date: 28/02/09 – 01/03/09
Location: Courtown Harbour, Co. Wexford, Ireland.
No of places available: 30 triathletes
Coaches x 4: Rich Brady (Head Coach), David Tunney, Aoife Carbury, Hugh Carbury

Schedule
Participants are requested to arrive in Courtown on Friday 27/02/09.
The training course will end on Sunday afternoon 01/03/09.
Timetable
Fri evening Easy run 30-45mins, for those that can make it in time.

0830-0930 Intro to the weekend
1000-1200 Bike session (2hrs) - Simple Aerobic Testing
1230-1300 Lunch
1300-1430 Training for long distance events
1500-1630 Run session - Technique and harder session.
1730-1900 Nutrition for training and race day.
1900 Supper

0715 Cuppa Tea/Coffee Juice. Light bite
0800-0930 Swim session Pool
1000-1100 Brunch
1200-1400 Brick session
1430 Lunch
1500 Final Q&A
Please bring:
Your bike & equipment (spare tubes etc)
Plenty of cycling and running gear – the weather might be bad...
Swimming gear. We have 1.5 hours in the pool.

I studied at the University of Bath for a HND in Coach Education and Sports Performance, before taking over at Kelly College as the Triathlon Coach, where I have helped a number of junior athletes gain International selection in Triathlon, Duathlon and Modern Pentathlon.
I am a British Triathlon Level 3 coach and tutor and an ASA level 2-swim teacher.
I worked at Kelly College from Sep 2003-08 as the Triathlon coach, where I also assistant with the swim programme. During this time I coached athletes to Commonwealth, Pan American and Olympic Games, World and European Championships.
I have also helped 10+ athletes a year for the last 3yrs to complete Ironman races in personal best times and had at least one age group athlete at the 70.3 World Champions in Clearwater since it first year in 2006.
I have worked for:
• British Triathlon at there high Performance centres in Loughborough and Swansea
• UK Athletics at the High performance Centre in Bath
• MPAGB at training camps and with local athletes.
• Bermuda Triathlon Association.
• The University of Bath Swim School (teaching the little ones to swim).

One of Ireland’s fastest short and long distance female athletes.
