If you are finding it difficult getting a bike to Lisbon there is another option :
Limerick Tri-Club have grouped together and used DHL to ship a collection of bikes
'.....While it has not been confirmed yet, I spoke to Jag (TI) last week and he assured me that the DHL option would be available, this worked out brilliant for Austria last year and even though it meant that the bikes went a little earlier as they travel by road, it all worked out so well that many who brought bikes by plane let them go back with DHL.
Cost last year was 45euro so I'd imagine it will be something similar and has the added advantage of being able to throw loads of other stuff into the bag/box.....'
