To Doug, Nikki, Gerry & Mary.
To quote Lance Armstrong
"This is not Disneyland, or Hollywood. I'll give you an example: I've read that I flew up the hills and mountains of France. But you don't fly up a hill. You struggle slowly and painfully up a hill, and maybe, if you work very hard, you get to the top ahead of everybody else." –
I’m sure you remember a cycle last winter when the wind howled as the rain fell sideways, you’re nose more snotty than a Childs, and you asked yourselves was it all worth it, as you questioned your sanity.
Well all I can say is, it will be well worth it, that I know As for the sanity I’m not so sure.
The very best wishes. I am flying over to the race to shout at yea as well.

well, I don't know but the guys in the UK are playing a blinder ...... I think Santa Clause is in trouble this year with Mary Daly topping out at 348mph (time to go back to paper and pen for split times I think ) .... I must admit , the on-line live feed is not as much fun as driving a fiesta with 5 grown ( well grown) adults in the back up the mountains around Nice. Just not the same really, killing me I am not there to soak up some of that rain . Looking forward to the race reports. Duffy, last bike split @ 342mph.... now that is impressive. TOTAL SWIM 2.4 mi. Some achievement all. I'm tired even thinking about it. If G.Duffy goes for the hat trick he has to swim/bike/run home from the event no matter where it is!
Congrats to all
